First Class VAT and Tax Support

Prior to this update, working with value added tax has always involved a few conversations with the OpenWater onboarding team. We’re happy to add VAT support using the same intuitive interface already used to create other price rules.

How to Use VAT in OpenWater

In the round settings, go to the VAT option.

The rest of the setup process should look the same as what you are already used to.

VAT support is powerful enough to allow charging VAT only to those who need to pay it. For example, if you are running a European competition and want to exempt participants from the United States. You can easily set such specifications within the system.
