Customer Support

OpenWater is a SaaS-based company (main office is in Washington, DC) and are searching for a remote, work-from-home customer service representative who will help train and support customers on our platform.

Your daily responsibilities will be to onboard new and existing customers and provide the proper guidance on how to setup their workflow within our software. You’ll need to follow up with them repeatedly to ensure they are on the right track and fix any mistakes they might make along the way. Your customers will email or schedule calls with you if they have questions and need help. The success of the customer depends highly on your advice.

We have many remote support staff spread all across the USA and Canada. We use Slack to communicate and you will have a whole team backing you up.

Hours

  • Full time position
  • 9am/10am to 5pm/6pm

Requirements

  • Proficient with technology and SaaS-based solutions
  • Fast internet connection (dual monitor setup preferred)
  • Friendly, patient, and calm demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task and be independent
  • Excellent at both written and verbal communication
  • Prior experience in a customer support position

Compensation / Benefits (in US Dollars)

  • For Remote Positions:
    $19/hr  + commission
    Starts as 1099 and converts to W2 after nine months
  • For In-Office
    $40,000 to $50,000 base + commission
