Enhancements for Event / Gala Registration

Published May 23, 2016 in Leadership

Since the beginning of this year, we have provided a starter kit that works well for event registration. The workflow has been used for collecting table registrations for galas, sponsor booth registrations, and general event registrations.

The full flexibility of OpenWater is there in terms of setting up custome intake forms, sending out confirmation emails, and enabling a robust price rule engine complete with coupons and VAT calculations.

The spring release adds a feature commonly seen in traditional event management software: the ability to limit the capacity of an event.

Under the Attendee Settings panel, there is a new option to “Limit Total Number of Registrations for Event” shown in the screenshot below:

With the settings shown above, after an event reaches 50 registrations, no more will be permitted. If an attendee has their registrations in the shopping cart, the system will stop them from paying and alert them with the capacity reached message.

Curious to see OpenWater Event Registration in action? Take a look at our World of Awards Conference Website and check out the register workflow. While you are at it, come join us with a 10% discount using coupon code awards.
