How OpenWater and Quickbooks work together
Quickbooks is a small business accounting system. Smaller magazines, publishers, and associations use Quickbooks as their accounting system of record. Invoices and payments collected in OpenWater can flow into Quickbooks to make reconciliation automatic for your book keepers and accountants.
How does the integration work?
After an invoice is paid in OpenWater it gets copied over to Quickbooks. General Ledger codes get mapped per award or application fee type to a GL code in Quickbooks.
What APIs do you use?
OpenWater uses the REST APIs. OpenWater integration only supports Quickbooks online. For desktop versions of quickbooks we can provide a CSV import file.
