Boost the Reach of your Awards Website with AddThis

AddThis provides smart marketing options and tons of data for your team.  Used on over 15 million websites, AddThis provides social sharing options for your awards entrants and insights for your marketing team.  OpenWater includes some built-in social sharing options, but you can take it to the next level with AddThis.

AddThis has freemium options to let you

To get started:

Step 1: Sign up for AddThis.com

Step 2: After signing up you will be provided an integration for websites (javascript)

By default the code will look something like this

Step 3: Paste this code in Public Settings > Themes

Step 4:  Edit the theme you would like the widget in and add it to the Footer, then press Save

Step 5: Go to the “Tools” section of AddThis and select the options you’d like to add to the website.  Out of the box, OpenWater supports the sidebar, header, and footer widgets.  Simply paste the provided code into the same footer box BELOW the AddThis script you already added.
