OpenWater Hires Doug Rutherford as President and Chief Revenue Officer as Fast-Growing Startup Looks to Continue Impressive Growth

OpenWater, the leading application & review platform, has hired industry veteran Doug Rutherford as the company’s President & Chief Revenue Officer. Rutherford will lead all revenue for the company and oversee all customer and revenue generating sides of the business — including sales, marketing, customer success and professional services — for the fast-growing, industry-leading company that has changed the way organizations manage their programs and has been recognized by Inc Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.

Rutherford, who most recently worked at Tangoe as a regional VP of Sales and VP of Customer Success, has spent more than 25 years leading, building and scaling high-performing enterprise sales operations, helping them increase revenue efficiency and drive growth. Doug has led global sales and field service operations — including enterprise sales, channel sales, inside sales, customer care and support, professional services, sales operations, business and corporate development.

Rivermine was acquired in 2011, in the most successful sale in the Telecom Expense Management market.
