OpenWater, formerly nonprofitCMS/awardsCMS, a leading provider of cloud-based awards, abstract and conference management solutions, today unveiled the results of a major rebranding initiative with the launching of their new website,http://www.getopenwater.com. In addition to its new name, OpenWater has focused its offerings to better align with its core competencies and client needs.

“We are thrilled to let our clients and friends in the industry know about our new name and new home online,” said Tim Spell, Director. “When we looked at the evolution of our company and our software solutions, we kept coming back to what really matters the most to us – our customers. That commitment is at the heart of everything we do to provide the easiest, most customizable awards, abstract and conference management solution in the industry.”

Company leadership chose its new name, OpenWater, to evoke limitless possibilities and endless horizons. In addition, the leaders wanted a metaphor that reflects the company’s commitment to what they call “TUCS” (Truly Unlimited Customer Support), which provides clients with setup services, ongoing training, educational content and advice at no additional charge and no time limit.

“Our name conjures up our commitment to advancing our solutions and ourselves,” said Spell. “It’s a concept that not only speaks to who we are, but also reflects the clients with whom we do business – the visionaries and go-getters who work to get – and stay – ahead of the pack. That’s OpenWater.”

You can now find the company on Twitter at @getopenwater; on LinkedIn at GetOpenWater; and on Facebook at GetOpenWater.
