An Optimism High. Careful, It’s Contagious.

Published February 2, 2018 in Leadership

January 2018 was an intense month that, happily, left everyone smiling.

Among January’s successes:

  • January was the highest sales month on record. By way of comparison, sales for January exceeded revenue for all of 2013.
  • Jordan Volpe made the most sales. This is a huge accomplishment, especially given his relatively short tenure here (~18 months after college graduation).
  • January brought three new hires. This week Kate Foray, our implementation consultant, started. She is based in Richmond, Virginia. Kate has the distinction of holding the highest score on the software test created by General Manager Zack Schwartz. We also interviewed our first summer intern. The summer internship position is a paid position in sales. Historically, applicants have come from word-of-mouth. If this sounds of interest, get in touch.

Now, on to February.

“We’re not turning down any meeting.”

That’s the consensus of founders Tim and Kunal, both of whom have been fielding investment inquiries for months. Both founders emphasize that they will entertain all offers but are in no rush. The right partnership requires a specific mix of attributes and shared vision for the company’s future. Tim will be attending a dinner next week by invitation of a Mid-Atlantic investment group to discuss ideas.
